Ikebana Dojo

Slide a stem and watch it rise. In this 3D ikebana game you arrange seasonal flowers and branches on a kenzan, the spiked holder used in Japanese flower arranging. Pick the spot where a stem should stand and drag upward; the flower rises to exactly the length and angle you traced. When the arrangement is done, the iemoto grades it out of 100 on five points — heaven-earth-human balance, angle, negative space, forbidden branches and color — and hands out one of seven ranks, from turned away at the gate all the way to iemoto. It is free, needs no download and runs in your browser. Start with a single branch and see how far the ranks take you.
