Checkmate Inn

Checkmate Inn is a card battler with a chess player's patience. Every match plays out like a small board game: which card you hold, which one you spend, and when you commit decide whether your opponent runs out of moves. The rules are quick to pick up, the back-and-forth is not, and it is free to play in your browser.
