Zhao Yun and A Dou

A goofy-looking take on Three Kingdoms tower defence that gets its claws in fast. Soldiers level up by merging words two at a time: match the same characters and they jump a tier, and you keep merging until Three Kingdoms generals appear on your side. Then place those characters on the battlefield to hold back the waves of enemy troops. The screen is split into two camps, top and bottom, and both sides keep sending units forward, so the pressure never stops. Your one job is to protect A Dou on your side and stop the enemy from breaking the last line. Free in your browser, no download.
